Goofy weirdo:
Marshall: „Who wouldn’t wanna snuggle up next to this business on a sunday morning. Wrapped in a comforter and it’s raining outside, there’s muffins warming in the oven. I’m cuddly, bitch, deal with it.“
Hopeless romantic:
Ted: „You know what? I’m done being single, I’m not good at it. Look, obviously you can’t tell a woman you just met that you love her, but it sucks that you can’t. I’ll tell you something though, if a woman, not you, just some hypothetical woman, were to bear with me through all this, I think I’d make a damn good husband, because that’s the stuff I’d be good at. Stuff like making her laugh and being a good father and walking her five hypothetical dogs.“
Hopeless romantic #2:
Ted: „What you and Tony have… What I thought for a second you and I had, what I KNOW that Marshall and Lily have. I want that. I do. I keep waiting for it to happen… waiting for it to happen and I guess I’m just some… I’m tired of waiting. And that is all I’m going to say on that subject.“
Gute Freundin:
Ted: Listen, whenever you feel like calling her you come find me first, and I will punch you in the face.
Marshall: You’re a good friend, Ted.
Hat nichts mir mir zu tun, aber ist grandios:
Lily Aldrin: I had four strawberries.
Ted Mosby: Was there a side of champagne with each of those strawberries?
Lily Aldrin: [burping] Yes!
Marshall Eriksen: Lily, you could have burped, or said the word yes, but the fact that you did both is exactly why I married you.
